How do you make a tattoo gun?
August 16th, 2008
My friend and I would like to make one. Anyone know how to?
You are frigging' kidding me right? No one here is going to help you out dude. We're actually trying to educate people about the dangers of amateur tattoos and you want instructions on how to make a tattoo "gun".
1) I don't care if you can draw like Leonard Di Vinci tattooing skin is NOT the same as drawing on paper. Your VICTIMS are going to get crappy ink
2) You have no idea how to maintain a sterile field. And NO, putting on rubber gloves before you tattoo some one is NOT maintaining a sterile field.
3) There is no way you can sterilize the equipment itself without an autoclave. And NO, rubbing alcohol on it does NOT sterilize the equipment.
4) As far as I know, you have no way of disposing of the bio hazardous wastes that are generated when you give someone a tattoo.
At best you are going to give people crappy tattoos. At worse someone is going to get an infection and end up having a body part amputated or worse and you are going to end up in prison (where you new roommate Bubba is going to end up tattooing your *** every night after the lights go out)
Do all of us a favor. If you want to learn the art of tattooing then apply for an apprenticeship and learn from a professional.

Yes, what you do, is you get a water pistol and you super glue a needle into the end of it. Then dip in ink (any kind will do) and stab yourself with it in the design you want.

Don't do home tattoos! those are the worst! Go to a professional, and if you are too young, wait until you are old enough! Underage kids get the most retarded tattoos!

just go out and find a needle in some alley behind a trashcan and stick it in your arm, youll have less chance of getting something funky from that then a homemade tat machine!!dumb ass go to a proffessional its cleaner and they look alot nicer

Don't make one!! Save up your money and get one done by a professional. I have 5 tattoos that are all by a homemade gun and they look like s hit. I have one covered up already. Trust me if you tattoo yourself you will need to get the professionals to fix it someday!

think before you let some dickwad with a tattoo "gun" put crappy ink on your body that you're going to have to pay a real professional to cover up anyway.

Seriously, this is getting old. Heckle and Jeckle want to sling ink….great another scratcher morphing out of their dufus cocoon. You could be the hep twins. Rider gave you a better explanation than you actually deserve and probably will ignore anyway so there's little to add other than just don't. Put the bad idea down, lower your hands and walk away.

Please don't. Listen to Rider. A 10,000 year art form is being ruined by people like you.
