Does blood get into the sanitary tube of a tattoo gun?

(I'm not educated on the workings of the gun)

Yes of course it does. The needle as well as the tube gets contaminated during a tattoo process. You cannot reuse needles ever and tubes, if not disposable, must be cleaned, the grips disassembled from the tubes and cleaned some more, then put into the ultrasonic, and then an autoclave.

If the gun is working right blood wont go any farther than the needle. replace the needle every time 4 every person.

it depends on how far the gun goes in. and it shouldnt draw out any more blood than it should.
the needle should be replaced so there isnt a cause for infection

Normally no blood doesn't get into the gun itself. Most tattoo artists put their guns in an autoclav it disinfect it after every tattoo so the risk of infection is very slim.
