how to assemble a tattoo gun?
August 23rd, 2008
My friend bought his first tattoo gun, and it came with no assembly instructions. Is there any websites or advise out there.
Thanks in advance!
First off, he is not a boyfriend. Second, I have tattoos, and yes some people call them guns, and my tattoo artist did. I am asking for my friend, no reason to be an A$$ Rider (12NI)!
BTW I personally don't have cable to watch Miami Ink AND I DON'T CARE about TV shows!
The thing is hwne you order a tatto gun you are actually supposed to know how to assemble it. It doesn't come with instructions because it is not meant for an ametuer that has no training……
You actually are supposed to learn from the person you are apprenticing for…..

have him call the maker or the person he ordered it from and give him instructions over the phone or email him the info. that's shady that it didn't come with info.

Ok tallgirl…….. It is NOT a tattoo "gun". Guns shoot bullets. It comes with no assembly instructions for a reason. You should already know all that BEFORE you buy the "gun". How would you know that you ask? It would be a part of the training you received as a tattoo apprentice. Ok….let me make a wild guess here…..your boyfriend has seen too many episodes of Miami Ink and now he thinks he is going to be a fantastic "self taught" artist. Does your boyfriend have an autoclav? Does he know sterile technique? How is he going to prevent cross contamination? Answer……He isn't. He isn't going to worry about any of that…..until someone gets an infection or dies. But hey…..why worry about stuff like that until it happens. "Artists" like your boyfriend are one of the reasons you see so many crappy tattoos on people. Box up the tattoo MACHINE and send it back is the best advice you're going to get.
