That's pretty cool. I've never thought of trying to make realistic tattoos, I've always gone for drawing on fake cutter scars; it excites the teachers.
Only sharpie and paint markers are bad for your skin.
I used a large amount of regular ballpoint pen ink, had a blood test done, and had no effect.
